Connect your tools

An integration gives Astrolabe the address and the token of one of your tools. The administrator adds it once, in Administration β€Ί Company connections. Then the tool shows up where your teams look: on the page of each component, on their dashboard, in the catalog.

πŸ”’ The steps, for every tool

  1. Create a token in the tool. Each page says which rights it needs.

  2. Add the integration in Administration β€Ί Company connections, and click Test connection.

  3. Turn on its plugin, if it has one, in Administration β€Ί Plugins: see Turn on a plugin.

  4. Annotate your components in their catalog-info.yaml, so that their tab shows up. Each tool's page gives its annotation.

πŸ”‘ Two tokens: the company's, and yours

GitHub, GitLab, Jira and Azure DevOps read with the company's token for the component tabs, the catalog and Compass, and with your own account for your dashboard cards. See The company's token and your own account.

Something does not work?

Each tool has its Common problems page. For the whole instance, start with Find and fix a problem.
