Add the Argo CD integration

The integration gives Astrolabe your Argo CD host and token. Without it, the Argo CD plugin cannot be turned on.

You do it once, as an administrator.

Before you start

You need an Argo CD API token: see Create a read-only Argo CD token.

🔧 Add the integration

1. In the left sidebar, at the bottom, click Administration.

2. Under PLATFORM, click Company connections.

3. On the ArgoCD card, click Configure. The card says Not configured.

4. Top right, click Add Token.

5. Fill in the form. Each ? next to a label explains the field.

   Field	What to enter	Example
   Name	A name of your choice, shown in the token list	Argo CD
   ArgoCD instance host	The domain name of Argo CD, with its port if it is not 443. A leading https:// is removed on save.	argocd.example.com

6. Click Test connection. The form says Connection works: the source accepted the credentials.

7. Click Add. A banner says The configuration has changed; the server is restarting. with a Reload button.

After a few seconds, your token is in the list, with the state Connected.
