Add the LaunchDarkly integration

The integration gives Astrolabe the address of the LaunchDarkly API and an access token. The card of Administration › Company connections describes it as The feature flags of an entity, from LaunchDarkly.

You do it once, as an administrator.

Before you start​

You need a LaunchDarkly API access token with the reader role. In LaunchDarkly, you create it under Organization settings › Authorization. This step was not checked on a live instance.

🔧 Add the integration​

  1. In the left sidebar, at the bottom, click Administration.

  2. Under PLATFORM, click Company connections.

  3. On the LaunchDarkly card, click Configure.

  4. Top right, click Add Token.

  5. In API URL, keep https://app.launchdarkly.com/api. It is already filled in.

  6. In LaunchDarkly token, paste the access token.

  7. Click Test connection. The form says: Connection works: the source accepted the credentials.

  8. Click Add. The form warns: The instance will restart after confirmation. Wait a few seconds.

The token is in the list, with Administration in the Source column.
