Add the Bitbucket Server integration

The integration gives Astrolabe the address of your Bitbucket Server and a token to read it. The catalog reads your repositories with it: see Import your Bitbucket Server repositories.

You do it once, as an administrator.

Before you start

You need an access token of your Bitbucket Server, with read access to the projects. In Bitbucket, you create it under Manage account › HTTP access tokens. This step was not checked on a live instance.

🔧 Add the integration

  1. In the left sidebar, at the bottom, click Administration.

  2. Under PLATFORM, click Company connections.

  3. On the Bitbucket Server card, click Configure.

  4. Top right, click Add Token.

  5. Fill in the form:

    FieldWhat to enterExample
NameA name for you, shown in the token list. Already filled with Bitbucket Server.Bitbucket Server
Bitbucket Server hostThe address of your server, without https:// and without a path. It must be the exact name the server answers to.bitbucket.example.com
    TokenThe access token
  6. Click Test connection.

  7. Click Add. The form warns: The instance will restart after confirmation. Wait a few seconds.

The token is in the list. This step was not checked on a live instance with a working token.

Every field has its ?

Hover the ? next to a field to see what it expects, with an example.

The optional setting

Under Optional settings, API Base URL is the full address of the REST API, with https://. Leave it empty: Astrolabe then uses https://<host>/rest/api/1.0.

✅ That's it!
