Add the Grafana integration

The integration gives Astrolabe the address of your Grafana and a token to read it. It feeds the Monitoring tab of your components and the Alerts in trouble card of My Dashboards.

You do it once, as an administrator. The same token serves the tab and the card: there is nothing else to enter.

Before you start​

You need the address of your Grafana and a service account token: see Create a Grafana service account token.

🔧 Add the integration​

  1. In the left sidebar, at the bottom, click Administration.

  2. Under PLATFORM, click Company connections.

  3. On the Grafana card, click Configure.

  4. Top right, click Add Token.

  5. Fill in the form:

  6. Click Test connection. The form says Connection works: the source accepted the credentials.

  7. Click Add. The form warns: The instance will restart after confirmation. The screen says Please wait while the instance is reloading... Wait a few seconds.

The token is in the list, with State set to Connected. On Company connections, the Grafana card now says Connected and its button reads Manage.
