Azure Cloud FAQ

Which roles does the service principal need?

Reader and Cost Management Reader, on the subscription. Astrolabe only reads.

Why is there no Azure tab on my component?

Because it has no azure.com/tag-selector annotation, or the Azure plugin is off in Administration › Plugins. See Show Azure on a component.

Is this the same as the Azure DevOps integration?

No. Azure Cloud reads resources and costs of a subscription. Azure DevOps reads pipelines, pull requests and work items: see Azure DevOps.
