Configure GitHub sign-in in Astrolabe

You give Astrolabe the Client ID and Client Secret of your GitHub OAuth app. Then the sign-in page offers Continue with GitHub.

You do it once, as an administrator.

Before you start

You need the Client ID and Client Secret of the app: see Create the OAuth app in GitHub.

πŸ”§ Install the GitHub provider

  1. In the left sidebar, at the bottom, click Administration.

  2. Under PLATFORM, click Authentication. The Providers tab opens.

  3. On the GitHub card, click the switch at the top right of the card. The Configure GitHub window opens.

  4. Fill in the form. Each ? next to a label explains the field.
