Set the sign-in challenge and usage measurement
The Application tab holds two things: the two keys of the sign-in challenge (Cloudflare Turnstile), and the two values that let Astrolabe measure how it is used with Umami. Leave a field empty to switch the matching feature off.
You do it as an administrator.
🔧 Fill in the tab
-
In the left sidebar, at the bottom, click Administration.
-
Under SETTINGS, click General, then, at the top of the page, the Application tab.
-
Fill in the fields you need.
Field What to enter Example Site key The public key of the sign-in challenge. Without it, the challenge is not shown. 0x4AAAAAAAexampleSecret key The secret key Cloudflare gives with the site key. ✅ That's it!
Once saved, the Secret key is never shown again: the field is locked. To change it, click Replace next to it, type the new one, then Save.
🛟 Troubleshooting
Problems shows « The sign-in challenge is not checked: its secret key is missing, so the sign-in page does not show it. Enter the secret key in General › Application. » The Site key is saved, its Secret key is not. Click Fix it, fill in Secret key, then Save. Until then, the sign-in page has no challenge.
