Go back to an earlier configuration

Every time you save settings in Administration, Astrolabe keeps a version. If a change was a mistake, you restore an earlier version.

πŸ”§ See the versions

  1. In the left sidebar, at the bottom, click Administration.

  2. At the top of the page, click the Configuration tab.

The page Configuration Versions lists the versions, the newest first. The newest says Current Version. Each one has its number and its date.

πŸ” See what a version holds

On the line of a version, click View Changes. The line shows what going back to this version would remove, as a block of settings. Click Hide Changes to close it.

βͺ Restore a version

  1. On the line of the version you want, click Rollback.

  2. A window Confirm Configuration Rollback asks Are you sure you want to proceed with rolling back to this version? It says The instance will restart after confirmation.

  3. Click Rollback.

  4. The window Reloading configuration says Please wait while the instance is reloading... Wait until Astrolabe comes back.

The restored settings become a new version at the top of the list, and it is the Current Version.

βœ… That's it!
