Delete the notifications you have read

Once you have read a notification, you can remove it from your history. You delete one, or all the read ones at once. A notification you have not read yet stays: Astrolabe never deletes it.

🗑️ Delete one notification

  1. At the top right of any page, click the bell (Notifications). The panel opens on the right.

  2. Read the notification, or mark it as read: see Read your notifications.

  3. At the right end of the row of the notification, click the delete button. Its name is Delete notification: followed by the title of the notification.

The notification disappears from the list at once. Astrolabe asks nothing first.

A notification you have not read has no delete button. Read it first.

🧹 Delete all the read notifications

  1. In the panel, at the top right, click Delete read notifications. It sits next to the double check that marks everything as read.

  2. The window Delete read notifications asks:

2 notifications you have already read will be deleted from your history. Unread ones are kept. This cannot be undone.

The number is how many you have read.

  3. Click Delete. To change your mind, click Cancel.

The read notifications are gone. The ones you have not read are still there. When nothing is left, the panel says No notifications yet, and Delete read notifications is greyed out.

✅ That's it!

Deleting is final

A deleted notification does not come back. Read the ones you want to keep before you delete.
