Read your notifications
The bell, top right of Astrolabe, collects everything Astrolabe tells you: an achievement you unlocked, a pipeline that fails on a component you watch. You read it there.
Open the bell
- At the top right of any page, click the bell (Notifications). A number on it counts what you have not read yet.
A panel opens on the right. The notifications are grouped by day (Today), the newest first. Each one has a title, a text and how long ago it arrived. What you have not read yet has a green bar on its left.
Keep only what you have not read
- At the top of the panel, click Unread. The number in brackets is how many you have not read.
- Click All to see everything again.
Keep only one level
- At the top of the panel, click the funnel (Filter notifications).
- Pick Critical, High, Normal or Low. Pick All to remove the filter.
The same list also offers the source of the notifications, for example achievements.
Open what a notification is about
- Click anywhere on a notification, its title, its text or its time. You land on what it tells you about: the component page of a watched component, the dashboard card, or, for a merge request or a pipeline, its page in GitHub or GitLab, in a new tab.
- When a new notification arrives, a small alert appears at the bottom left of the page. Click its message to open the same thing.
Mark as read
- Click a notification to read it: it is marked as read, and the number on the bell goes down by one.
- To mark everything at once, click the double check at the top right of the panel (Mark 5 notifications as read, the number is how many you have not read).
✅ That's it!
