Choose your notifications in 2 minutes
Astrolabe tells you when something happens in your tools: a pipeline that fails, a PR to review, an issue assigned to you. You choose which events, and where they reach you.
How to
1. Open your notification settings
- Top right, click your avatar, then My Account.
- Open the Notifications tab.
The What do you want to receive? card lists the tools of your Astrolabe, one section each (Jira, GitHub…).
2. Read the two columns
| Column | Where the notification reaches you |
|---|---|
| In Astrolabe | In the bell, top right of Astrolabe |
| On this browser | As a notification of your browser, even with the Astrolabe tab closed |
3. Switch each event on or off
Each line is an event. Turn its switch on or off, in each column. It is saved right away.
- What breaks comes first, marked Critical (a pipeline that fails, a quality gate in red…). It is on by default.
- What only starts or succeeds is folded under Starts and successes. Click it to see it. It is off by default, except in the Watched components section: everything that happens to a component you watch is on, successes included.
The browser column is greyed out?
It says Off on this browser: your browser does not receive notifications yet. Click Turn on under the column title: see Receive notifications on this browser. It says Blocked in this browser’s settings: allow Astrolabe's notifications in the site settings of your browser, then reload the page.
✅ That's it!
