See the score of a component

Open a component to see its score for each compass, and which rules it fails.

Before you start

Compass is on (Turn on Compass) and at least one compass is active.

🧭 Read the score on the Overview

  1. In the left sidebar, click Catalog, then click a component.

  2. On the Overview, find the Compass Statistics card. On the left, a gauge shows the score in percent, with the level reached under it (for example Orbital Tuning). Next to it, each compass has its own line with its score. The card is as tall as what it shows.

πŸ”Ž See which rules fail

  1. At the bottom of the Compass Statistics card, click View details. The Compass tab opens.

  2. At the top, a line of six levels shows how far the component has gone: Star Dust, Constellation, Alignment, Orbital Tuning, Stellar Calibration, Celestial Harmony.

  3. Under it, each compass has its own block: its name, its description, a gauge with the score, and its Assessments. A green check means the rule passes, a red cross means it fails.

  4. Click a rule to open it. It shows Actual (what Astrolabe found), Expected (what the rule asks) and the weight of the rule in the score. A yes-or-no rule shows Result: Passed or Result: Failed instead, with what Astrolabe Read when the source says it.

  5. Click Run scan to evaluate the component again. Last evaluated shows when it was last done. Run scan is greyed out when your role does not allow it: the score stays the last one.

How the score is made

The score is the share of rules that pass, each counted with its weight. A compass with six rules of the same weight gives each rule 17 %: five rules passed gives 83.3 %.
