Common problems with The Foundry

What you see	What to do
Please fill out this field. when you click Next	Fill in the field marked with a star (*).
A red message starts with The template did not finish and says could not find a file that the template needs	The template points at files that do not exist. Tell the owner of the template (shown on its card) to fix its source.
The red message says was not allowed to read or write a file	Ask your administrator to check the permissions of the server.
The red message says could not reach followed by an address	Check that the address is right and that the service answers, then click Start Over.
The red message says was refused by the service it publishes to: the connection is missing or its token is no longer valid	Ask an administrator to fix the connection in Administration › Company connections, then click Start Over.
The red message says was not given what it expects: the template is wrongly written	Tell the owner of the template (shown on its card) to fix it.
The red message says failed. The log below tells what happened; share it with your administrator	Read the log of the red step, then send the Task ID and the red lines to your administrator.
A step is red, and the next ones read Skipping step … because a previous step failed	Read the log of the red step: it says what failed. Fix it, then click Start Over.
The Tasks table shows Failed in Status	Click the task to read its log.
No Choose button on the cards of the Templates tab	Your role does not let you create components. Ask your administrator: see the FAQ.
Error: Request failed with 403 Forbidden in the Tasks tab	Your role does not let you read tasks. Ask your administrator: see the FAQ.
