Change or delete a group

You are an administrator.

Change a group

1. In Administration, under SECURITY, click Groups.
2. At the end of the row of the group, click the pencil (Edit group).
3. In the window Edit group, change the Title, the Description, the Parent group or the Members. To remove a member, click the cross on its chip. The Name is greyed out: it never changes.
4. Click Save.

tip

The group astrolabe-administrators is in the list from the start: its members are the administrators. See Give administrator rights to someone. Its bin is greyed out: this group cannot be deleted.

Delete a group

1. At the end of the row of the group, click the red bin (Delete group).
2. In the window Delete this group?, read The group acme-team will leave the catalog, and its members will lose the roles it gives.
3. Click Delete.
