Groups FAQ

What is a group for?

It lists people, it owns components, and it receives roles. In the catalog, the Owner of a component is a group.

Where do I see the groups?

Everyone sees them in Catalog › Groups. Administrators create and change them in Administration › Groups.

Can I change the name of a group?

No. The Name cannot change once the group is created. Change its Title instead, or delete the group and create it again.
